Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end R&D projects from concept to prototype development
- Design and execute experimental protocols for neural interface technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (biology, software, clinical) to integrate innovations
- Document methodologies and analyze experimental data using statistical modeling
- Secure intellectual property through patent applications
- Mentor junior researchers and present findings at industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in neural signal processing and machine learning algorithms
- Proven track record of published research in peer-reviewed journals
- Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, and LabVIEW for data analysis
- Experience with FDA regulatory processes for medical devices
- Strong project management skills with Agile methodology
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants or corporate funding
