Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy advanced quantitative models for derivatives pricing and risk assessment.
- Perform rigorous statistical analysis to interpret market trends and forecast volatility.
- Collaborate with the trading floor to optimize execution strategies and hedge portfolio risk.
- Design and maintain real-time data pipelines to ensure high-fidelity input for analytical models.
- Present complex quantitative findings to senior management and stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and financial market developments to adapt models accordingly.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior analysts and developers on best practices in computational finance.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, or risk management within a top-tier investment bank or hedge fund.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, R, or MATLAB with a strong understanding of numerical libraries.
- Deep knowledge of stochastic calculus, time-series analysis, and machine learning algorithms.
- CFA or FRM certification is highly preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
