Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
- Conduct thorough exploratory testing to identify edge cases in complex user journeys.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to define clear acceptance criteria.
- Lead root cause analysis for production incidents to prevent recurrence.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of quality across the engineering department.
- Manage test data, documentation, and reporting for cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or SDET roles.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language: Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on metrics-driven quality improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
