Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test plans, test cases, and automated testing frameworks for complex web and mobile applications
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring thorough documentation, prioritization, and resolution tracking
- Execute manual and automated testing across multiple platforms, including regression, performance, and security testing
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define quality metrics and continuous improvement strategies
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices across agile development teams
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical defects and implement preventive measures
- Stay current with emerging testing technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in QA processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional QA experience with SaaS products and agile methodologies
- Expertise in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing practices
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with mobile testing (iOS/Android) and cross-browser compatibility testing
