Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, performance, security, and usability testing
- Lead automation frameworks using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Champion quality metrics through JIRA dashboards and defect lifecycle management
- Conduct cross-browser/device testing and API validation with Postman
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for test documentation
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to embed quality early in the SDLC
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with Selenium/Cypress
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and performance testing tools (JMeter)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerized testing
- Proven ability to translate complex requirements into testable scenarios
