Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and establish quality gates
- Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with test automation
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical bugs and propose preventive measures
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing technologies
- Champion quality initiatives through test case optimization and coverage analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in QA/testing with SaaS or fintech products
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Strong knowledge of API testing (REST/SOAP) and database validation (SQL)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Agile/Scrum methodology proficiency with hands-on sprint participation
- Certification in ISTQB or similar quality assurance framework preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
