Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality integration
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with product teams to define quality metrics and release criteria
- Mentor QA engineers on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Conduct exploratory testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for complex fintech features
- Champion quality culture through peer reviews and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA testing with 2+ years in fintech or SaaS environments
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent quality assurance credentials
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior QA engineers and lead quality initiatives
