Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for SaaS platforms, covering functional, performance, and security aspects
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress to enhance test coverage and CI/CD integration
- Implement defect tracking workflows in Jira while maintaining rigorous quality metrics
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality assurance best practices across cross-functional teams
- Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and drive preventive measures
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and quality standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with SaaS or cloud-based products
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios and test cases
