Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automated testing initiatives using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD integration
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve critical defects
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive measures
- Develop test documentation including test cases, scripts, and quality metrics
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing technologies
- Champion quality culture through continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and scripting languages
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Proficiency in defect tracking systems (Jira) and test management tools
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
- Experience testing cloud-native applications and microservices architectures
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
