Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for complex web/mobile applications
- Execute manual and automated testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) including regression, performance, and security testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications and actionable resolutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with automated test suites for continuous quality validation
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive adoption of industry best practices
- Analyze test data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, Java)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA within DevOps culture
- Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and performance testing tools
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology training
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and precision
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker)
