Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Implement automation frameworks using Selenium and Cypress to accelerate testing cycles
- Lead defect management in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Conduct API testing with Postman and validate RESTful services
- Champion quality metrics and reporting using tools like TestRail
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive continuous process improvements
- Participate in agile ceremonies and provide QA insights for sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA with emphasis on test automation and API testing
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, and Java/Python automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Experience testing cloud-based SaaS applications and microservices architectures
- Certified Agile/Scrum Practitioner (CSM/PSM preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
