Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality.
- Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with high precision using Jira and defect tracking tools.
- Perform regression testing on new builds to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- Conduct load and stress testing to optimize system performance and stability.
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD best practices to integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Expertise in API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and database querying (SQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
