Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate testing workflows using Selenium, Cypress, and Python to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring clear documentation and resolution tracking
- Implement continuous integration pipelines with Jenkins and Docker for seamless testing environments
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical bugs and propose preventative measures
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Collaborate with product managers to define quality metrics and release criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in senior leadership roles
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript) for test automation
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience testing SaaS platforms and cloud-based applications
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
