Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for web, mobile, and API applications
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and thorough root cause analysis
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Conduct risk-based testing strategies and regression testing for complex enterprise software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality gates and release criteria
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Analyze test metrics and provide actionable insights to improve product quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (5+ years QA experience acceptable)
- Expertise in manual and automated testing with Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools (JIRA, TestRail, Postman), and SDLC/STLC processes
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing (OWASP, Burp Suite)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java) for test script development
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
