Responsibilities

- Automate test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Lead QA initiatives for cloud-native SaaS platforms with 99.9% uptime requirements
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines with integrated quality gates
- Document defects with JIRA while maintaining traceability to requirements
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical production issues
- Mentor junior QA engineers in industry best practices
- Champion quality metrics across engineering departments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with focus on web/mobile applications
- Expert proficiency in automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress) and programming languages (Python/Java)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Proven track record of reducing defect escape rates by 40%+
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerized environments
