Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for complex web applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to identify edge cases early in the SDLC.
- Lead root-cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventative testing protocols.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and testing methodologies.
- Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration of automated tests.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Development in Test (SDET).
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Proven track record of building scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
