Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust, scalable automated test frameworks using Selenium or Cypress.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define clear acceptance criteria and edge cases.
- Execute complex regression, integration, and performance testing suites across distributed systems.
- Lead root cause analysis sessions for production incidents to drive continuous process improvement.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices, code reviews, and test-driven development methodologies.
- Manage end-to-end quality metrics and report key performance indicators to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and industry-specific regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software QA, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, specifically integrating automated tests into Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Expertise in SQL for database verification and API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a mindset focused on preventative quality assurance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
