Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks.
- Perform comprehensive manual and exploratory testing to identify edge cases.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate shift-left testing practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Analyze root causes of production issues and implement preventive measures.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and testing methodologies.
- Define and manage test data strategy across multiple environments.
- Participate in architectural reviews to ensure testability from day one.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or SDET roles.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Deep experience with automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API testing and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Jira-based workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical risks to stakeholders.
