Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications
- Execute manual and automated testing (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit) across multiple environments
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring thorough documentation and tracking
- Perform regression, smoke, and integration testing for new feature releases
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve code quality
- Conduct performance and security testing using industry-standard tools
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (5+ years experience)
- Expertise in QA methodologies, tools (Selenium, Postman, JIRA), and agile workflows
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java for test automation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven ability to create detailed test documentation and defect reports
- Familiarity with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing (OWASP)
