Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-leading CI/CD pipelines
- Lead root cause analysis of defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality assurance
- Collaborate with product managers to define quality metrics and release criteria
- Implement and maintain QA documentation including test cases and defect reports
- Champion quality-first mindset through cross-functional Agile ceremonies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience with web/mobile applications
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages
- Proficiency in JIRA, TestRail, and other QA management tools
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent preferred
