Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Python to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes in JIRA with detailed root cause analysis
- Implement continuous integration pipelines with automated testing in Jenkins
- Conduct API testing with Postman and validate RESTful services
- Document test procedures and create detailed test cases in Confluence
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience equivalent)
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing and validation
- Familiarity with mobile testing (Appium) and cross-browser compatibility
- Certifications in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodologies preferred
- Demonstrated experience in fintech or SaaS QA environments
