Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API applications
- Lead automated testing initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate delivery cycles
- Execute manual and automated tests, documenting defects with precision in JIRA and ALM
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality bottlenecks
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain and enhance test environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Stay current with industry QA trends and emerging testing technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in QA with 2+ years in leadership or senior roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing
- Proficient in SQL and scripting languages (Python/JavaScript)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Demonstrated experience in fintech or regulated industries
