Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Selenium or Cypress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to identify system requirements and test scenarios.
- Perform comprehensive black-box and white-box testing to identify, track, and resolve defects.
- Implement CI/CD integration strategies to accelerate deployment cycles while maintaining high code coverage.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability under peak traffic conditions.
- Mentor junior QA staff and foster a culture of quality-first development.
- Document test results, bug reports, and quality metrics for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or a development-focused testing role.
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Proven expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management for backend validation.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
