Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end testing strategies including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright frameworks
- Lead defect lifecycle management using JIRA and Rally, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define testable requirements and quality metrics
- Execute exploratory testing to identify edge cases and user experience gaps
- Generate comprehensive test reports with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Mentor QA team members and champion quality engineering best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with emphasis on test automation
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation and test data management
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks (Appium, Espresso) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
