Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Lead the QA strategy for complex product features from inception to deployment.
- Execute manual and exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define robust test plans and acceptance criteria.
- Mentor junior QA staff and advocate for software quality best practices across the engineering department.
- Analyze production logs and bug reports to perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years focusing on automation.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, K6).
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving.
