Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, performance, and security requirements
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-standard tools
- Lead defect triage sessions and drive resolution with development teams
- Establish and enforce QA metrics to track product quality and process efficiency
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical issues and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality standards and acceptance criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with proven expertise in test automation frameworks
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript) and testing tools (Selenium, JIRA, Postman)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Agile/Scrum certification and familiarity with test-driven development principles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
