Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, providing QA expertise and insights.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a Senior or Lead QA role.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and strategies.
- Strong proficiency with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
- Extensive experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Solid understanding of API testing principles and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and JIRA or similar project management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
