Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software features.
- Automation Engineering: Lead the development of automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to reduce regression testing time by 40%.
- Performance & Load Testing: Utilize tools like JMeter or Gatling to simulate high-traffic scenarios and ensure system stability under pressure.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate test scripts into Jenkins or GitLab CI pipelines to ensure automated testing is part of the delivery cycle.
- Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot defects, identify root causes, and drive technical solutions.
- Tool Selection: Evaluate and recommend new testing tools and frameworks to enhance the QA ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Automation Tools: Expertise in at least one major automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
- API Testing: Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Methodology: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Waterfall processes.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
