Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure product quality across various environments.
- Automation Leadership: Spearhead the development of scalable automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to reduce regression testing time by at least 40%.
- Performance Testing: Utilize tools like JMeter or Gatling to conduct load, stress, and scalability testing, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing system performance under heavy traffic.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure code quality is validated automatically with every commit.
- API Testing: Validate RESTful APIs and microservices using Postman and ensure data integrity and security compliance.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate complex defects, provide detailed bug reports, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Tooling & Frameworks: Establish and maintain a robust QA testing framework, including reporting dashboards and logging systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong emphasis on Automation and Performance Testing.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Automation Frameworks: Hands-on experience with modern web automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
- Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of SQL for database querying and data verification during testing.
- CI/CD: Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
