This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely 3 days/week while engaging with our vibrant San Francisco headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, scripts, and automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and JUnit
- Lead end-to-end testing of cloud-native microservices across CI/CD pipelines
- Execute performance/load testing using JMeter and k6 to identify bottlenecks
- Champion quality through exploratory testing, usability validation, and security audits
- Maintain test environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Document defects in JIRA with detailed reproduction steps and impact analysis
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years of QA experience with 3+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of API testing with Postman and RESTful services
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- ISTQB Foundation/Advanced certification preferred
- Proficiency in SQL, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
