Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to facilitate rapid, reliable releases.
- API Testing: Perform comprehensive API testing to validate data integrity and backend functionality using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Test Strategy: Collaborate with product managers and developers to define test strategies, write detailed test plans, and execute regression testing.
- Bug Tracking: Document and track bugs with precision, ensuring clear communication between technical teams to expedite resolution.
- Performance Testing: Assist in load and stress testing to ensure system stability and scalability under peak traffic conditions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Frameworks: Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cypress.
- Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of SQL and experience querying databases to validate test data.
- Methodology: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
