Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a scalable Test Automation Framework using Python and Selenium or Cypress to support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Lead the quality assurance strategy, translating business requirements into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform API and UI testing, including load testing and security vulnerability assessments using tools like Postman and JMeter.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, conducting code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to raise the overall quality bar.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and Development teams to integrate testing seamlessly into the software lifecycle.
- Analyze complex technical issues and debug application errors to ensure rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on Automation and Performance Testing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Java, with a deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
- Expertise in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases for data verification.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD environments (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
