Responsibilities
- Test Automation Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure immediate feedback on code changes.
- API & UI Testing: Perform comprehensive API testing (REST/SOAP) and UI regression testing to validate functionality across various browsers and devices.
- Performance Testing: Collaborate with the performance team to identify bottlenecks and conduct load testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
- Bug Management: Document and track defects with precision using Jira, providing clear reproduction steps and logs to developers.
- Strategic Planning: Develop testing strategies and test plans that align with project goals and business requirements.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews to foster a culture of quality excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript (TypeScript).
- Tools: Solid experience with testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress), API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured), and database testing (SQL).
- Agile/Scrum: Experience working in Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and devise effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
