Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration with Jenkins and GitLab for automated test execution
- Lead defect lifecycle management using JIRA and create detailed test documentation
- Conduct root cause analysis of production defects and drive preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and evangelize quality best practices across teams
- Optimize test coverage and execution efficiency through strategic tool selection
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA automation experience with 3+ years in test framework development
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and containerization (Docker)
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with hands-on sprint planning
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Certified Test Engineer (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience with fintech or SaaS products highly desirable
