Responsibilities
- Architect & Execute Test Automation: Design and implement robust, scalable automation frameworks using Python, Java, or JavaScript to reduce regression testing time by 50%.
- CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Performance & Load Testing: Spearhead performance engineering initiatives using tools like JMeter or Gatling to ensure system stability under peak load.
- Bug Lifecycle Management: Collaborate with developers to identify root causes of critical bugs and drive the resolution process in Jira.
- Quality Strategy: Define QA roadmaps, mentor junior testers, and establish best practices for code quality and testing coverage.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years specifically in Automation Testing.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python/Java/JS) and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Tools: Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Methodology: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Waterfall.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
