Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive automated testing framework using modern tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Write and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications, ensuring high code coverage.
- Integrate automated testing directly into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to facilitate continuous integration and delivery.
- Perform API testing (RESTful services) and database validation to ensure backend logic integrity.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools with precision.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system stability under high traffic loads.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews to promote best practices within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years focused on Automation Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Extensive knowledge of web testing tools, including Selenium WebDriver and browser automation.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for data validation.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD concepts.
