Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright for web and mobile applications
- Lead API testing initiatives using Postman, RestAssured, and SoapUI to validate backend integrations
- Develop performance test scripts using JMeter and K6 to identify bottlenecks under load
- Create comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, security, and accessibility testing
- Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing technologies
- Analyze test metrics to drive continuous improvement in quality processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with 3+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in JavaScript/Python for test script development
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Certification in ISTQB or similar QA methodology preferred
- Experience testing cloud-native applications and microservices architecture
- Proficient in defect management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
