Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous validation.
- Perform API and performance testing using tools like Postman, JMeter, or Gatling.
- Analyze application code and logic to identify edge cases and potential security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Report, track, and verify the resolution of bugs in Jira or similar ticketing systems.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews for test scripts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with web testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer).
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and experience testing them (Postman, REST Assured).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
