Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to support organizational growth and operational efficiency.
- Lead high-level negotiations with international and domestic suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quality, and lead times.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate disruptions and maintain continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional department heads to align purchasing activities with production and budgetary targets.
- Oversee the vendor management lifecycle, including onboarding, performance audits, and relationship cultivation.
- Implement cost-reduction programs and lean procurement initiatives to improve bottom-line margins.
- Utilize advanced ERP systems to oversee inventory turnover, purchase order accuracy, and supply chain data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale procurement budgets and complex global supply networks.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced data analytics platforms.
- Strong certification credentials such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or APICS preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with a keen eye for contractual detail.
- Deep understanding of global trade compliance, logistics, and raw material market trends.
