Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to optimize costs and supply chain efficiency.
- Negotiate high-stakes master service agreements and long-term contracts with international suppliers.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively adjust purchasing tactics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement goals with manufacturing production schedules.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of procurement specialists and analysts.
- Oversee supplier performance evaluations and conduct regular site audits to ensure quality compliance.
- Implement sustainable sourcing initiatives to align with corporate ESG goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in purchasing or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP software (SAP or Oracle) and advanced data analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual procurement budgets.
- Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 15% of the time.
