Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to optimize supply chain resilience.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, from vendor selection and contract negotiation to performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with engineering and production departments to align purchasing activities with manufacturing output requirements.
- Analyze market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply risks and manage budget variances.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists to drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or procurement management.
- Proven track record of successful vendor contract negotiations resulting in significant cost savings.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and MS Excel for data analytics.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- CPM or CSCP certification is considered a significant advantage.
