What You'll Achieve:

Responsibilities
- Architect scalable technology solutions for public service delivery
- Collaborate with ministers to align digital initiatives with national priorities
- Oversee implementation of $50M+ transformation projects
- Establish governance frameworks for data sovereignty and privacy compliance
- Mentor junior technologists in public sector best practices
- Represent Canada at international digital governance forums
- Conduct risk assessments for critical infrastructure modernization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in public sector IT leadership or equivalent
- Master's degree in Public Administration or Computer Science
- Proven expertise in GCP/Azure government cloud implementations
- Security clearance at Secret level or higher
- Experience with Canadian digital service standards (e.g., GC Cloud Security)
- PMP or TOGAF certification required
- Deep understanding of Canada's Digital Government Strategy
