Lead the digital transformation of Australia's public infrastructure as our Senior Public Sector Technology Architect. You'll design secure, scalable solutions that directly impact citizen services and government efficiency. Responsibilities
- Architect cloud-native solutions for federal government systems using AWS/Azure best practices
- Develop security frameworks compliant with Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
- Lead cross-agency digital transformation projects with $5M+ budgets
- Mentor junior architects and establish technical governance standards
- Conduct infrastructure vulnerability assessments and remediation planning
- Collaborate with policy teams to ensure technical solutions align with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise architecture with 5+ years in public sector/government
- Certified AWS/Azure Solutions Architect and CISSP qualifications
- Expertise in Australian Government Information Architecture (AGIA) standards
- Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies in regulated environments
- Demonstrated success in leading complex infrastructure modernization projects
- Active Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong understanding of Privacy Act 1988 and Notifiable Data Breaches scheme
