Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end digital transformation programs for federal government agencies
- Develop and execute digital strategy aligned with national policy objectives
- Manage stakeholder relationships across C-suite, technical teams, and policy advisors
- Ensure compliance with Australian Government Information Security Framework (AGDSF)
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies and DevOps practices in public sector context
- Oversee vendor management and technology procurement processes
- Report on KPIs and ROI to executive leadership and parliamentary committees
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in digital transformation within government/public sector
- Proven track record leading complex technology initiatives with budgets >$5M AUD
- Expert knowledge of Australian public sector policy, compliance, and procurement frameworks
- Certification in cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) or equivalent experience
- Strong background in cybersecurity and data governance regulations
- Experience managing cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals
- Demonstrated ability to navigate parliamentary and ministerial approval processes
