Your Mission:

Responsibilities
- Strategic Campaign Development: Design and execute comprehensive PR strategies that align with client business goals and market trends.
- Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers across key industry verticals.
- Content Creation: Draft, edit, and pitch press releases, op-eds, and thought leadership articles that highlight client expertise.
- Crisis Management: Act as the primary point of contact during PR crises, providing timely and strategic counsel to mitigate negative impact.
- Event Coordination: Plan and manage high-profile media events, roundtables, and webinars to enhance brand visibility.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor media coverage, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate detailed monthly reports to demonstrate ROI.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4-6 years of proven experience in Public Relations or Communications, preferably within an agency or in-house corporate setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field required.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing and editing abilities with a portfolio of published work demonstrating versatility in tone and style.
- Network: Established media contacts within the New York market and a deep understanding of current media landscapes.
- Tools: Proficiency in media monitoring tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision) and project management software.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
