Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies for B2B and B2C clients across tech, healthcare, and consumer sectors
- Lead media relations efforts with top-tier journalists, securing placements in Forbes, WSJ, and industry-specific outlets
- Manage crisis communications protocols, ensuring swift, empathetic responses during brand challenges
- Oversee digital PR initiatives including SEO-optimized press releases, influencer partnerships, and content amplification
- Direct cross-functional teams of PR specialists, content creators, and social media managers
- Analyze campaign performance using KPIs like share of voice, media value, and sentiment analysis
- Nurture relationships with key stakeholders including CMOs, VPs of Communications, and agency partners
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive PR experience with at least 3 years managing teams or client portfolios
- Proven track record of securing tier-1 media placements and handling high-profile crises
- Expertise in digital PR tools, SEO fundamentals, and social media analytics platforms
- Strong network of media contacts across business, tech, and lifestyle verticals
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Certification in PR (e.g., APR) or advanced degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing
- Experience with budget management and P&L responsibility for PR campaigns
- Portfolio demonstrating measurable ROI from at least two major PR campaigns
