Responsibilities

- Cultivate relationships with top-tier journalists, influencers, and media outlets
- Lead crisis communications and reputation management initiatives
- Oversee content creation including press releases, pitches, and thought leadership pieces
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and optimize strategies quarterly
- Manage a team of junior PR professionals and agency partners
- Coordinate cross-functional campaigns with marketing and social teams
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive PR experience with 3+ years in management
- Proven track record securing placements in Tier 1 media (NYT, WSJ, etc.)
- Crisis communications expertise with real-world case studies
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in PR measurement tools (Cision, Meltwater)
- Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities
- Experience managing multi-million dollar PR budgets
- Certified PR Professional (CPP) or PRSA accreditation preferred
