Responsibilities

- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key journalists, influencers, and industry analysts.
- Lead high-profile media campaigns, from ideation to coverage analysis and reporting.
- Serve as a strategic lead for crisis communications and brand reputation management.
- Write and edit compelling press releases, pitch decks, blog posts, and thought leadership articles.
- Mentor junior PR team members and oversee departmental workflow and deadlines.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in agency or in-house PR, preferably within the tech or consumer sector.
- Proven track record of securing placements in top-tier national and trade publications (e.g., NYT, WSJ, TechCrunch).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a refined storytelling ability.
- Proficiency in media monitoring and CRM tools such as Muck Rack, Cision, or Meltwater.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple high-stakes accounts.
