Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies for 5-7 high-profile accounts
- Cultivate relationships with key journalists, editors, and industry influencers
- Write and distribute press releases, pitch letters, and thought leadership content
- Manage crisis communications protocols and provide strategic counsel during brand challenges
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and optimize strategies quarterly
- Mentor junior PR specialists and oversee campaign execution teams
- Collaborate with marketing, legal, and product teams to ensure messaging alignment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive PR experience with 3+ years in management
- Proven track record of securing placements in top-tier media outlets (WSJ, Forbes, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience with crisis management and media training
- Expertise in digital PR strategies including SEO-optimized press releases
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in PR measurement tools (Cision, Meltwater)
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills with portfolio samples required
