Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies aligned with client business objectives
- Secure media placements in top-tier outlets (Forbes, WSJ, TechCrunch) through targeted outreach
- Manage crisis communications protocols and provide 24/7 media response support
- Lead cross-functional teams including digital marketing and social specialists
- Analyze campaign performance using KPIs like share of voice and sentiment analysis
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and industry influencers
- Present quarterly PR performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of progressive PR agency or in-house experience
- Proven track record of securing 20+ Tier 1 media placements quarterly
- Expertise in crisis management and media training protocols
- Advanced proficiency in Cision, Meltwater, and Google Analytics
- Strong writing skills with samples of press releases and op-eds
- BA/MA in Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Certification in PR (e.g., APR or PRSA preferred)
- Demonstrable experience with tech or healthcare verticals
